A chapter in Technology Management for Intelligent, Open and Responsible Organizations and Ecosystems, 2026, pp 29-36 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The transfer of green technologies is important for sustainability in the agricultural sector. This study examines the technology transfer process within Embrapa units in Brazil’s Central-West region, focusing on innovation and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using a mixed-methods approach, structured questionnaires were applied in nine units based on the Green Technology Transfer Radar (RGTT), which evaluates 11 key dimensions. The analysis included statistical measures and Pearson correlation. Findings revealed a positive perception in areas such as Research & Development (R&D) and Environment, highlighting significant progress. However, challenges remain in Integrated Management, Society, and Commercialization, underscoring the need for more effective strategies. This study provides valuable insights to enhance technology transfer management, maximize the impact of green technologies, and strengthen the sustainability and competitiveness of Brazilian agriculture.
