A chapter in Technology Management for Intelligent, Open and Responsible Organizations and Ecosystems, 2026, pp 470-478 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The main objective of this work is to evaluate the evolution of technological areas and the relationships between them in a longitudinal manner, using Dynamic Social Network Analysis (DSNA). Through the patent analysis of the 20 main companies in the pharmaceutical sector, over a period of 20 years, it was found that technologies are volatile over the years and therefore cannot be evaluated statically. This contributes to greater predictability in the development of future strategies, since the path of technological development can be identified.
