Abstract:
Abstract This study aims to evaluate the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) by tourism companies in Dong Nai province in recent years. The data used in this paper were collected by the research team from the labor situation reports from 2020 to 2023 by the Dong Nai Statistics Bureau and a survey of 300 tourists who purchased services from tourism companies in Dong Nai province. The study applies both qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze secondary data and assess the current situation of CSR implementation by tourism companies in the province across various dimensions, including economic aspects, job creation, improving workers’ livelihoods, empowering women, social welfare programs, and business ethics. The results show that tourism companies in Dong Nai province have not effectively fulfilled their responsibilities regarding environmental protection, their obligations to the government and workers, and consumer protection. Based on these findings, the paper proposes solutions to promote the CSR practices of tourism companies in Dong Nai province in the coming period.
