Abstract:
Abstract In a growing economy, Entrepreneurial Orientation becomes a core concept in business because it relates to the performance of new product development. This article aims to provide a comprehensive summary of research on the emergence of Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO), while exploring and elucidating the relationship between EO and performance in new product development performance (NPDP). The author searches for documents on reputable academic platforms (Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science) in the period from 2015 to June 2025 using 2 main keywords “Entrepreneurial Orientation” and “New Product Development Performance”. After that, the authors of the floor filtered and selected prestigious articles ranked in Q1 and Q2 according to Scimagor’s ranking. The review of documents shows that EO not only directly impacts NPDP but also through many intermediary and regulatory roles in different national and industry contexts. The paper provides a comprehensive perspective on the different roles in the relationship between EO and NPDP.
