Abstract: Abstract The study aims to explore the entrepreneurial orientation of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) toward entrepreneurial resilience, focusing on the role of social factors in Malaysia. Entrepreneurship resiliency is essential for entrepreneurs to navigate challenges and uncertainties effectively. Persons with Disabilities often face social discrimination due to their disabilities. Many PWDs have turned to entrepreneurship to improve their economic status. However, the success rate still needs to improve, raising concerns about how social support influences their resiliency in entrepreneurship. While most studies of entrepreneurial resilience focus on firm, this study is pioneer in promoting individual entrepreneurial resilience. A purposive sampling method was utilized to recruit respondents. A total of 77 respondents of PWDs with physical disabilities took part in the survey. Structural equation modeling of Partial Least Square was utilized to analyze the data, confirm the relationship between variables, and provide insights on indirect relationships. Findings show that entrepreneurial orientation significantly impacts entrepreneurial resilience through proactive, innovative, and risk-taking. The social support of family and friends plays a crucial role in building PWDs’ entrepreneurship resiliency, highlighting the need for a more empathetic and supportive approach toward PWDs in the entrepreneurial space. Furthermore, social support enhances the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and resiliency, providing valuable information about PWDs. Internally, PWDs are inclined to pursue entrepreneurship, but with support from family and friends, they can face challenges in entrepreneurship. This study’s findings are significant as they contribute to the knowledge of entrepreneurship among marginalized communities, providing a deeper understanding of their resiliency despite their disabilities and enlightening the concerns.
