Abstract: Abstract Nowadays, sustainable urban development plays a key role in improving people’s quality of life. This can be achieved by a sustainable mobility transition. Therefore, municipal politicians need to take transport-related decisions toward sustainability. This research project provides a novel decision-making aid for municipal politicians to better understand and consider the complexity and interdependencies of the municipal transport system. This enables local politicians to assess the complex effects of traffic-effective decisions independently and at an early stage. For this, a web app is being developed as an easy-to-use software.
