Abstract:
Abstract This research examines the effectiveness of AI-based teaching approaches in improving conceptual understanding in STEAM education through concrete and symbolic games. The study examines how progressively substituting concrete illustrations with symbolic games can advance learning results. A survey design was utilised, and data from 71 respondents in a STEAM teaching setting were analysed by means of generalised linear models. Findings reveal a substantial positive effect of AI-based approaches on cognition, predominantly through the steady transition from concrete to symbolic games illustrations. These results highlight the possibility for AI technology to advance learning in STEAM instruction. Future study should investigate diverse educational settings to further examine AI-based approaches.
