Chapter Chapter 2 in Coordination in Large-Scale Agile Software Development, 2017, pp 7-37 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The theoretical foundations outline extant literature on coordination as well as on agile software development. To provide a basis for agile development on a large scale, first the underlying core concepts of coordination and agile software development on a small scale are presented before delving into prior work on coordination in multiteam systems and large-scale agile software development.
