Abstract: Abstract The aim of this study is to equip students and professionals with vital knowledge to undertake a research, and provide them with an orientation tool to serve as a roadmap to success. This chapter provides a synopsis of the major stages of research study with an emphasis on the conceptual phase. It demystifies the research process and proposes a conceptual model for research planning and development.
