Chapter 4 in Process Management, 2014, pp 45-60 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In recent years, understanding and analyzing the functioning of an organization from the business process view point became widely accepted and adopted compared to the functional understanding of the organization. This is because the process-oriented understanding of the organization represents an important way of ensuring changes in the organization’s structure and functioning in order to create a better, more competitive and successful enterprise.
