Abstract:
Abstract The aim of the research study is to examine the relationship of the green motivation-enhancing practices bundle with sustainable industrialization and innovation. Moreover, Psychological work meaningfulness is taken as a mediator. The relationships are studied through the componential theory of creativity. Data was collected via self-administered questionnaires from managerial-level employees of the textile sector in Pakistan. Structural equation modeling will be used for analyzing data. The results suggest psychological work meaningfulness provokes the required interest in the tasks, weaving an intricate web that fully mediates the relationship of green motivation-enhancing practices with sustainable industrialization and innovation. The research implies that the meaningfulness that one finds in his/her work catalyzes the link between green motivation-enhancing practices and sustainable industrialization and innovativeness. This motivation fosters an engaging environment at the workplace that further calls for sustainable developments and newness through innovation. The uniqueness of this research study lies in its second-order factor analysis for studying the aforementioned relationship that delineates the fruitful outcomes in terms of the EU Green Deal for the attainment of UN SDG 9 i.e. sustainable industrialization and innovation. No prior study has taken this green human resource practices’ bundle into account while considering the mediating effects of psychological work meaningfulness.
