Chapter Chapter 7 in Relational Economics, 2020, pp 85-103 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Global or regional value creation or production networks are the paradigmatic cases of relational networks. This is particularly obvious in the case of corporate social responsibility. Within the framework of conventional economic theory, this can at best be explained as the result of negative external effects and attempts to internalise them, the relational view reveals further and other aspects of this value creation context. In particular, the focus is on the importance of global civil society in economic and social value creation processes. However, for companies, this implies the development of the capacity for trans-sectoral stakeholder management.
