Abstract:
Abstract This chapter presents the theoretical background, definitions and taxonomy on which the book is based. The conceptual aim of the book is to contribute to answering the question “What is the nature of economic organisations?” through the lens of relational economy theory. The chapter also provides the structure of the book to give the reader a guide on how this question is tackled throughout the book.
