Abstract: Abstract Greece is a country with a total population of 10,815.197 (ELSTAT 2011). It is the 15th largest economy in the 27-member European Union. Its economy is mainly based on the service sector (85 %), industry sector (12 %), and agriculture (3 %). One of the most important industries within the service sector is tourism. It is estimated that Greece will attract more than 18.5 million visitors in 2014, who will contribute more than 12 billion euro to the Greek economy.
