A chapter in Context-based Entrepreneurship, 2022, pp 1-5 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The way entrepreneurship occurs is an important determinator of its success in the marketplace. This means studying context is an integral part of any entrepreneurship study. In this chapter, we examine what context means and how location, time, and culture are important. This is useful as a foundation for exploring the role of context in entrepreneurship, which is becoming increasingly integral to differentiating successful versus non-successful business ventures. Suggestions for how to incorporate more emphasis on context in entrepreneurship practice and policy are also highlighted.
