Chapter Chapter 8 in Asymmetric Environmental Governance in Azerbaijan, 2021, pp 149-159 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter discusses the main findings which explain the asymmetric environmental policy of the government of Azerbaijan. It looks as if the proposed hypotheses of the research are corroborated. Barriers for environmental governance on coastal oil pollution are explained. Furthermore, this chapter explains key drivers for taking measures on controlling greenhouse gas emissions and sheds light on why such measures mainly failed in the case of coastal oil pollution. In other words, the divergence across environmental policy areas by the government of Azerbaijan is clarified.
