Chapter Chapter 3 in National Intellectual Capital and the Financial Crisis in Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, and Thailand, 2014, pp 19-53 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, we first present the development of national intellectual capital in the four countries over 6 years, and then graphically display the relationship between each individual component of NIC with GDP per capital (ppp). Afterward, we describe the relative positions of long-term and short-term intellectual capital in these four countries and explain the dynamics of NIC for three time periods (2005–2006, 2007–2008, and 2009–2010). Finally, we illustrate the NIC trajectory of these four countries on three dimensional (3D) 48-country landscapes.
