Chapter Chapter 2 in China's International Projection in the Xi Jinping Era, 2020, pp 5-8 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the 35 years before the inception of Xi’s presidency, China has grown at a remarkable rate, lifting one of the poorest countries on earth to the second largest economy. It is the result of the pro-market reforms initiated under Deng Xiaoping’s leadership, which have progressively unleashed China’s economic potential.
