Abstract:
Abstract What is energy? This chapter endeavors to answer the anterior question by providing definitions of energy from the viewpoint of physics, and discusses the various forms that energy takes so as to serve the human needs. The issue of energy aggregation is of paramount importance for comparing and evaluating different forms of energy. In this context, the present chapter describes and classifies the most widely utilized methodologies in energy measurement.
