Chapter Chapter 6 in Minisum Hyperspheres, 2011, pp 103-108 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In previous chapters hypersphere location problems have been studied where the objective consists of minimizing the weighted distances between a finite number of fixed points and a hypersphere. In Chapter 4 a generalization of the basic model has been considered where two unequal norms are used in the problem definition, and in Chapter 5 the special case of weighted Tschebyschow norms in the Manhattan plane has been discussed. A lot of extensions of these problems are possible. In the concluding remarks of previous chapters some possible extensions and lines of further research were already mentioned. In the following two extensions are discussed in more detail.
