Chapter Chapter 4 in Integrating Routing Decisions in Public Transportation Problems, 2014, pp 113-166 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Delay management deals with the short-term adaption of a given timetable to small delays as they occur in daily train operations. The main decisions to make are the wait-depart decisions: Should a connecting train wait if a feeder train arrives with a delay? If it does not wait, transferring passengers lose their connection; however, if it waits it will also receive a delay.
