Chapter Chapter 7 in Practical Chemical Process Optimization, 2022, pp 307-393 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, GAMS will be used to solve representative optimization problems from the chemical engineering discipline. We will study several examples taken from a wide spectrum of application areas. The aim is for the reader to improve her/his modelling skills, adopt good modelling practices, appreciate the strengths and limitation of currently available optimization software, and use these case studies as the basis for building more detailed optimization models.
