A chapter in Generative AI and Optimization Techniques for Sustainable Water Management, 2026, pp 35-43 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Artificial intelligence brings many great benefits to economic development in the current period, including the optimization of economic performance and the protection of water resources and environment. Therefore, increasing the contribution of artificial intelligence to economic activities is urgent to contribute to improving the quality of economic growth and development. The objective of this study is to clarify factors affecting sustainable water investment in the context of the interaction of generative artificial intelligence. The research results showed that higher per capita income has a positive impact on sustainable water investment. However, the positive impact of generative generated artificial intelligence on sustainable water investment in the short term has not been found, and the study suggests that there are solutions to increase the benefits of artificial intelligence for socio-economic performance, including sustainable water management in the long term. Finally, there are some policy implications for Vietnam to increase sustainable water investment in the coming time.
