Chapter Chapter 7 in Turnpike Theory of Continuous-Time Linear Optimal Control Problems, 2015, pp 209-231 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we continue to study the class of optimal control problems studied in Chaps. 3 and 4. There we established the convergence of approximate solutions on large intervals in the regions close to the end points. In this chapter we show that for a typical (in the sense of Baire category) integrand the values of approximate solutions at the end points converge to the limit which is a unique solution of the corresponding minimization problem associated with the integrand.
