Chapter Chapter 4 in Optimal Control of Switched Systems Arising in Fermentation Processes, 2014, pp 41-57 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Optimal control deals with the problem of finding a control law for a given system such that a certain optimality criterion is achieved. In this chapter, we introduce some basic concepts and results for dynamic systems. Then, we formulate the optimal control problems. We also present the necessary conditions for optimal control problems.
