Abstract:
Conclusion This paper has argued that the purpose of systems thinking is not thinking per se but devising strategies and plans for action that will fight failure and deliver success. It has accepted that encouraging more widespread use of systemsapproaches is important but it has also argued that there is a failure to make full use of some of the concepts that derive from the early days of systems engineering.
