Abstract: Conclusion STMEM is presented here as an effective way forward for understanding and managing the economy in the forthcoming millennium. Viable economies will enable developing countries to benefit from the process of globalisation. Indeed, the possession of viable economies will enable developing countries not only to benefit from globalisation but also to withstand the emerging complex and turbulent world economic system.
