Analytic Theory of L-Functions for GL n
J. W. Cogdell
Chapter 9 in An Introduction to the Langlands Program, 2004, pp 197-228 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this chapter is to describe the analytic theory of L-functions for cuspidal automorphic representations of GL n over a global field. There are two approaches to L-functions of GL n : via integral representations or through analysis of Fourier coefficients of Eisenstein series. In this chapter we will discuss the theory via integral representations.
