Abstract: Abstract In Chap. 5 we were concerned with the problem of estimating the mean of a certain distribution. Assume that $${X}_{1},{X}_{2},\ldots,{X}_{n}$$ is an i.i.d. sample of the distribution of interest. Let μ be the mean of this distribution.
