Abstract:
Abstract In special relativity, the fabric of space and time becomes irrevocably knit together in the concept of space–time. The first section explains how the concept of 2-dimensional space–time in the geometric algebra $${\mathbb{G}}_{1}$$ , introduced in Chap. 2 , generalizes to the full 4-dimensional space–time of special relativity in the geometric algebra $${\mathbb{G}}_{3}$$ . With only a slight loss of generality, we then restrict our attention to the study of 3-dimensional space–time in the geometric algebra $${\mathbb{G}}_{2}$$ .
