Abstract: Abstract The purpose of this paper is to study those related algebraic structures of additive GS-automata and their associated syntactic nearrings in which the set of states are abelian groups. The properties of reachability and connectivity in GS-automata are studied. The endomorphism semigroups of additive GS-automata are investigated. Every ring can be embedded into the endomorphism ring of an additive GS-automaton. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 68Q70; 16Y30.
