IT Governance Processes

Chapter Chapter 7 in Eliminating “Us and Them”, 2011, pp 65-96 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract To some extent, every organization I’ve encountered addresses the relationship dimension (committees) of IT governance, but far too few have deliberately managed IT governance processes. Not to provide an excuse, but the seemingly simple governance mechanism formula of relationships and formalized processes is anything but simple. There are countless possible permutations for the manifestation of committees and processes that make up IT governance mechanisms. The interpretation of IT governance in a given enterprise will have a direct and profound effect on that organization’s notion of the governance committees and enabling processes required to fulfill it.
