The Road Ahead
Robert Rapier
Chapter Chapter 15 in Power Plays, 2012, pp 245-252 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The primary message that I hope readers take away from this book is this: When it comes to energy, there is no free lunch. There are always tradeoffs. Politicians often end up dictating our energy policies based on the perceived desires of the electorate, but the electorate is often woefully uninformed about energy issues. This often leads to ineffective or counterproductive energy policies. Hence, the first step toward improving energy policies is ensuring that citizens are well versed in energy issues.
