The Right to Be Treated with Respect
Jonathan T. Hyman
Chapter Chapter 11 in The Employer Bill of Rights, 2012, pp 249-259 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Why do employees sue? I often think about this question. More often than not, it comes down to respect. Employees sue when they feel disrespected or when they perceive unfair treatment. Yet, it is not simply enough for an employer to treat employees well during their tenure. Employers should also strive to treat employees well in conjunction with their terminations and even thereafter.
