Designing for Growth

Beverly Rudkin Ingle

Chapter Chapter 9 in Design Thinking for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses, 2013, pp 103-115 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract By no means can growth be pain-free; it isn’t a reasonable expectation to think that could be possible. Think back to when you were a child and your arms and legs would occasionally—and seemingly randomly—ache for no apparent reason. If your mother was like mine, she described those aches as growing pains. If you were like I was, that answer seemed like the dumbest thing you had ever heard. Worse, you were powerless to prevent the ache.
