A chapter in Commutative Algebra, 2011, pp 181-202 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This review paper deals with tensor products of algebras over a field. Let k be a field and A, B be commutative k-algebras. We consider the following question: “Which properties of A and B are conveyed to the k-algebra A⊗ k B?”. This field is still developing and many contexts are yet to be explored. We will restrict the scope of the present survey, mainly, to special rings.
