Chapter Chapter 13 in Proactive Intelligence, 2012, pp 163-173 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Conducting a few Proactive CI projects should not be the end of your working with CI. First, you should consider how this new skill can help you advance your own career. Second, keep learning about CI, whether from books, webinars, meetings or courses. Third, begin thinking about how your competitors are doing this kind of work against your firm. What can and should you be doing about that? Finally, keep your eyes open—where you can gather data in the future will continue to change, in large measure driven by the war on terrorism.
