Abstract:
Abstract Having introduced some useful tools for analyzing a leveling network with three nodes we generalize to n nodes. At the same time we focus on eigenvectors and eigenvalues to derive the n by n pseudoinverse covariance matrix and deal with the SVD. We proceed to regular two-dimensional leveling networks; then random and systematic error propagation in a regular one-dimensional traverse is studied.
