Recall (§3.1.5) that the sequence {gj} is said to converge uniformly on compact subsets of U to a function g if the following condition holds: For each compact K ⊑ U (see §§3.1.5) and each ∈ > 0 there is an N > 0 such that if j > N,then |g(z) — g j (z)|
