Chapter Chapter 1 in Computational Conformal Mapping, 1998, pp 15-40 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Some basic concepts and results from complex analysis are presented. They include harmonic functions, Cauchy’s theorem, Cauchy kernel, Riemann mapping theorem, analytic continuation, and the Schwarz reflection principle. Proofs for most of the results can be found in textbooks. References that were mostly used are cited at the end of the chapter.
