Chapter Chapter 7 in The SPSS Guide to the New Statistical Analysis of Data, 1997, pp 91-94 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Although SPSS for Windows is designed primarily to be used for data analysis and not for evaluating probability functions per se, it is possible to demonstrate certain probability concepts with the program. This chapter illustrates “tossing coins” and “rolling dice” using SPSS. All of the procedures discussed in this chapter involve sampling with replacement.
