A chapter in The Geometric Vein, 1981, pp 355-378 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This paper on the geometry of cycles (oriented circles and lines) consists of a new look at some old ideas, using mainly synthetic methods. The figures are used for the communication of essentially simple geometrical ideas, and algebraic calculations are kept to a minimum.
