Abstract:
Abstract Gödel was born on April 28th, 1906, in Brno. His mother Marianne, also born in Brno, stemmed on her father’s side from the family Handschuh in Rheinland, Germany. Gödel’s father Rudolf came from Vienna and was managing director and partner of one of the leading textile companies in Brno. He died in the age of 54 and left his family well situated. So Gödel’s mother, an extremely subtle and distinguished lady, became the center of the family. The elder son Rudolf decided to study medicine and was soon a famous radiologist.
