Abstract:
Abstract We consider in this chapter, in a mathematically abstract way, the evolution equations of the kind discussed in Chapters 18 and 21, comparing the new state formulation with the traditional history approach. Relevant background to this discussion is the concept of a minimal state discussed in Part III from Section 6.4 onward, in particular, certain conclusions of Section 15.2.
