Abstract: Abstract An evolution problem in a bounded domain for viscoelastic fluids of the kind considered in Chapters 7, 9, and 12 is now presented. Our attention is confined to infinitesimal viscoelasticity for isotropic, homogeneous, and incompressible fluids.
