Chapter Chapter 4 in Information Theory and Best Practices in the IT Industry, 2012, pp 103-138 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In Chap. 2, we have given the classification system for practices of benchmarking. External and internal classifications constitute one such classification. Among different classifications, these two classifications are frequently used for improving measuring performances and improving the present level of performance. In this chapter, an analysis is made of different benchmarking practices and wherever possible, suitable examples are given.
