Abstract: Abstract It was a big privilege for me to have Walter as my good friend during last 41 years. For the first time, I met Walter personally was during the First International Congress on Automatic Control (organized by IFAC) in July 1960. Our meeting is commemorated in the Photograph (See Figure 1), taken together with some other members of the US delegation.
