Division in the Cellar

Philip J. Davis and William G. Chinn

Chapter 18 in 3.1416 And All That, 1985, pp 131-136 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract I LIKE TO DO WOODWORKING in my spare time, and the month hardly passes in which I do not go down to my workbench in the cellar and putter around. The workbench is not terribly well equipped with tools, but worse than that, the tools I have are generally scattered through the house.
