Chapter Chapter 6 in Asymptotic Analysis, 1994, pp 233-245 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we discuss several properties of series of Dirac delta functions [31] of the type 6.1.1 $$\sum^{\infty}_{n=0}{a_{n}\delta^{(n)}}{x}$$ As we have seen in the previous chapters, not only do such series form the building blocks in the asymptotic expansion of distributions, but they also arise in other contexts.
