Abstract: Abstract Polynomials are an integral part of any symbolic computation package, and Maple is no exception. Maple contains commands for their creation, manipulation, and transformation. Some of these commands are scattered throughout other chapters of The Maple Handbook, but the majority are listed in this chapter.
